You do not have to use this guide. I recommend it though. It gives great exp. All my characters have used this guide and it works well.

Cygnus Knights-

 Level 1-10.

Starter quests, claim your cygnus chair
Get your job. (Blaze Wizard *Cough* Cough*)
Err. ok so where were we... oh yea. Lvl 11 Raise your main fighting skill. 
Then your guardian to at least 3

Level 11- 20

Go to the training area quests. Don't leave each map till you level up. 
Finish the quest and get exp. 

Kill blue ribbon pigs. location: Blue ribbon beach, on the way to Nautilus from 6 path crossway.

Level 20-30 

Cygnus Knights have many quests. Do the "job" quests. Till 30. It does get annoying because you need to report back to Ereve like 3 or so times. 
At 18, dont report to your job instructor, go to the adventurer version of your job instructor and ask for the Mask quest. 
Dw- Perion
Bw- Ellina
Wind Archer- Henyses
Nw- Kerning city 
Thunder breaker- Nautilus 
Once 23, try golems till 30. First the nooby ones, then the mixed golems. Go to the mini dungeon for best results.
I recommend you do all cygnus quests before reaching level 30. Since they give great exp as well.
Rotting Skeletons in haunted house in NLC is pretty good exp too. 
 
Once 30, scroll down on the blog to find " Lvl 30+ guide" 

Resistance-

Level 1-30
Starter quests. Till you get your job. Raise the cool darksight thing first, then max potion mastery, then max crystal throw. I dont raise crystal throw or 3 snails(explorers)  because it wastes mp + mesos. Crtl is good! 
 
Once your level 10, on the left of the headmaster is a portal. Dont use it. You will get a quest from the headmaster at level 10. Then you will get a letter in your "use" inventory. Double click that letter once you get it. You will be transported to the job- picking area. Pick your job ( Battle Mage) *cough* then you can head to the left portal. From there keep going left till you meet Elex, The teacher. Get his quests, and go to the specified training zones. Make sure you get to at least 15 once you finish. Do all the job quests and do all quests in, out, and around Eldenstein  to get level 30.  Train on the gold helicopters in the black wings' area. I trained there well. Make sure you are 5 levels under any monster once you want to train on it. Levels 6 - 20 under the monster will still hit, but theres a high chance of death, and extremely slow exp.

Heroes-

 Aran-, lol the level 200 part is so funn :D
 
 -Starter quest till 10. 
Do other quests in rein until they are all done. 
Make sure you do your required *skill* quests. 

Kill blue ribbon pigs till 20. (Very bad alternative)
Pq's are cool too.
At Level 18, talk to the job instructor in perion. I think his name is something like "dances like a retard" or something
with his easy crud quest, you have to beat the boss "Andras" and then you will receive good exp and his helm. Its the ultimate headwear till level 50, where you can wear a zakum helm.
Once level 20-23 Go to Golems in Henyses. 
Golems till 30. Mixed golem dungeon at level 23 for best results.
Rotting skeletons in the chimney at NLC are good too.
 
Evan-
 I feel sorry for evan. They have so many quests. I stopped doing them till 50. Though there are still more till lvl 80 i think.
you MUST do ONLY those quests to level up. ONLY! Never train. You need to do this so you get good exp during your quests. If you leave them, you wont get good exp, you wont get mandatory skills, and you wont get Sp to master your skills! Once level 18 take a break and talk to Grendel the really old. He will give you the quest to receive the Marbas hat. This is the best helm you can get at the current level, and its easy plus,its FREE! ~Go to level 30+ Training at the bottom.

Dual Blader- 
I dont know much about the dualblader.
But what i do know is that they have many quests for you to finish. 
Blue ribbon pigs 10-16, Talk to the theif job instructor to get your donkey hat at level 18. Update* the donkey's name is valefor, and the quest is called, Valefor, the demon. It is also good exp at level 18. (Almost 2 levels!)

Adventurers-

All adventurers must do their quests. 
All starting quests must be done. 
They will haunt you forever if you dont finish them. My level 152+ Shadower still had his lvl 8 quest. lol when you quit the quest, its still there. Finish em! Or dont take them! 
For mages, i recommend you dont take that red girl's' quest. (the one that gives you a razor.)Update* her name is Mai. and she gives nooby quests with pro exp. -.-
Its ok if you get to level 11 or 9 before doing job advancement. Its also ok to gain a bit more exp after lvl 10 or 8. 
Claim your chair by talking to some fat, brown , asain guy. In Amherst. His quest is simple, break the box next to him, get the items, and keep accepting the quests till he gives you the relaxer chair. I recommend you raise nimble feet and max it. Because its very useful when you need to jump or go faster. Three snails is ultimately useless because at lvl 8 or 10, you will finally get your good attacks. So raise recovery too. 

Level 11-20 -

Job instructor has some quests for you, do em! 

Blue ribbon pigs are cool too.  Location: Blue ribbon beach, on the way to Nautilus from 6 path crossway. Make sure you get your job mask once you hit level 18 by talking to your job instructor. Quests are simple, don't worry. They used to be long and hard, and they used to be good exp too. They still are, but only 2 quests involved. 

Level 21-30 -

Golems. Once 23, Go to Mix Golem Mini dungeon for Best Results. Finish em at 30. Estimated time till 30- (about 1 hour and 30 min) Depending on your range and pro talent with skills. 
Rotting skeletons in the chimney are kool too.

Alternative level 25-30  < Anyone can use this extremely good alternative. 

Go to Mixed Golems in Henyses. They are in the map next to the Horny Mushrooms. [lol] GO in the dungeon, its the best mob.

 < Level 26 NOOB

Go kill the mushroom bosses in henyses. These give EXTREMELY GOOD exp at level 25-30. But

 they are usually crowded. 

Great Tips: 

1.There are 3 bosses, mushmom, big blue mushroom(mushdad), and big zombie mushroom. 

2. Once you get in, blue words at the chat box should appear. If not, change channels. Directly when you enter any of these boss rooms, if the message doesnt appear, leave immediately. It means there is nothing there so dont drop down and seach for it. {complete time waste} 

3. Wanna change channels faster?- Easy, this trick will help you ALOT! (NOT ONLY CYGNUS KNGHTS!!) 

~ Its called, channel gliding. Press "esc" and then hit "enter" That will put you on the channel selection screen. Use the arrow keys to make your selection and hit enter once again to enter the channel. EASY RIGHT?!?! 

Tip:1.  DO NOT use channel glide alot in MONSTER FILLED MAPS. A gm notice will appear saying that you might be a botter. (Hacker) If this does occur, type in the CAPCHA image exactly as directed on screen. That will eliminate you from being a "suspicious mapler" ~ 2. 'Aw Sht my frking party cced and i dont know where!' Ok, to find out where, press "p" and hover over the names that are NOT bold. That will show the channel they are currently in. 

Level 30+ Guide   >Updated* V3.0 ~ 10.0= finished.

This is a guide for ANY level 30+ person. Use it to get best results when training in maplestory. We have all characters level 70+ so trust me, im we are very pro in making guides and playing maple.

This first part is the training guide.  There are some alternative places so keep that in mind.

 Oh yea, MAJOR TRAINING TIP:  Training on a monster and not sure if you're getting the best exp possible?

Step 1: Make sure the monsters level is at least 5 levels above you. If you are under 5 levels, you will miss alot, and exp is so much slower, if you are a higher level than the monster, try finding a new training place and make sure its better. I have an equation for that in the Mstory Equations Guide. 

Level 30-50 : 

Where: Monster Carnival Party Quest. Talk to Speigalmann in kerning city or singapore to buy equips with cpq coins.     Note* you are only cpqing for exp and for the equips (only if you need them). Once equips are claimed, LEAVE!                     

What Monster:  Rombot Grinding 

Tips: Try Killing robos first, when you are strong enough, fight the rombots. Trade Wins are the way to go.

 Level 30-40:

What Monster:  Kill ALL monsters that are needed to kill to finish each quest. Dont buy etc drops from

Where: Mushroom Kingdom ~ Get here by reaching level 30 and clicking the lightbulb over your head

 [Quest:"The Challenge"] Your Job instructor should teleport you there. To walk there, go to henyses, and take the right> bottom portal. Keep going next map [Map: Ghost Mushroom Forest] till you see a big, green, swirling portal.

That's your ticket in. The red circle shows where the green portal is. >  

Tips:  Try finishing all the quests til you get the medal. The medal is all stat +2  and +100 hp and mp [its better than the lvl 70 veteran medal!] Get to level 37+ and then you are able to go to kerning mall.

Level 35-45:

~What Monster:  Kill all monsters that you need to finish the quests.  [Once level 42 go to the map with many cd's 'The place with the npc in it 'top left' ] Yes, go murder frking cd's. I guess nexon ran out of ideas.   < Level 43 Amateur

~Where: Kerning Mall. Get there by taking the subway for free in kerning city. Its a 8 sec wait till you get there so dont worry about waiting.

 ~Tips: Try to complete all quests,  beating the guitar boss is ultimately unnecessary (huge waste of time ), but good exp. If you just want to train, kill monsters that are good exp and at least 5 levels above you.

Level 45-60:

What Monster: Scarecrows 

Where:  Chimney in NLC. To get there, go to kerning city. From there, head to the subway and buy a ticket from blue guy with a mustache. Use the ticket in the ticket reader. From Nlc, go all the way < and take the taxi. Now, from the haunted forest, go inside the mansion. Take the stairs ALL the way up til you see a fire- lit chimney. Press ^ now ur in the chimney. Use the springs and bounce to the level with a scarecrow and press up. There you are. 

Tips: If you want to get the NLC town scroll, go to haunted woods. From there, take the left most portal. IN there, move a bit right, and go up on the rope, head in the portal and you will see 3 guys. Talk to the FatAss with a lghtbulb on his head and do the quest.  30 Haunted tree seed thingies. Takes a bit long, but it opens up a secret shop. Talk to the left most guy and buy crap from him after the quest is done. 

~You can only use the NLC scroll in VIC, Amoria. Get there from henyses by talking to a fancy suited guy. Use it once your in the Amoria place. (Wedding Area)

Level 60-67:

What PQ: Go to the newly achieved Ghost Party Quest. Make sure your not in a party and spam "J<Tw @@" in cc 1. After your added, go to the desired cc.  

Level 67-70:   

What: Jesters

Where: Chimney Possessed by the Clown (only in GMS)  

Details: Jesters are really good. They give ULTIMATE EXP. 

Pretty crowded and HIGH HP*** beware. 

You can own then at NLC> Black Taxi> Haunted House> Chimney> Pass the scarecrows.

So i met someone on maple and he asked me why my macro was, "Mstoryblog!" I told the little kid ( lvl 174 pro) that he was missing out if he didnt know our website. I told him what it was and he emailed me a request to post mage skills for his newly made evan. I also got emails for BaM as well. If you guys didnt know, My maple experience is set to ONLY mages.i have every single mage job level 100+ and I have only pro mage equips, with about 5-8b  altogether. Not much i know, but i'm not a "no life". -.- Dont worry, this website is not a 1 man army. Some of the other Webmasters have other characters too. We have all characters at least 70+. 

This is a guide and skill build for all mages

My first Mage was a Cleric, whom i started about 5 years ago... 


The training areas for the cleric are mentioned in the Level 30 + Blog. This is a guild to help with your adventures. 

Unlike other guides that confuse you I will put easy to do and remember guides. So that you wont have to keep checking up on this guide.

 
Lets start at level 30, So by now you should have ok equips, chose job as cleric, claimed the marbas hat, and have about 5 million mesos perhaps. 
 Here are you current skills: Everything maxed except energy bolt. Which is 7 or 6 i think. 

Cleric skills (these are how strong they are at max)~

1.Mp Eater-  Absorb mp by attacking a monster with a certain chance and rate of absorption. 
~Max 20 / Absorb chance 30%, Amount absorbed 40% of the monsters max Mp (passive skill)
 
2. Invincible -  Temporarily decrease only Weapon Attack damage received. 
~Max 20 / Decrease Damage by 30% for 300 seconds. (Buff skill)
 
3.Bless-  Temporarily increases tons of stats for all nearby party members.
~Max 15 / Magic and Weapon attack +15, Magic defense and Wep. defense +300,  Accuracy and Avoid +180. for 240 seconds. ( Buff skill)
 
4. Heal-  Heal yourself without potions. It can hit up to 5 nearby undead monsters 

~Max 30 / Hp restored 300%, 280% Dmge up to 5 undead monsters (spamable) (Active Skill)
 
5. Teleport- Teleport to a certain distance ~Tips: Use teleport ALOT! Try using teleport and then using an attack skill. 

 
6. Holy Arrow- Attack using an arrow. (deals immense damage to undead and devil type monsters)

~Max 20 / 380% Dmge (spamable) (Active skill)
 
7. Spell Mastery-  Increase Magic Mastery and Magic Atk 

1.Doom-  Transforms multiple enemies into snails. It nerfs them too. ~Cannot be used against bosses. (Active)

~Max 20 / Uses 1 Magic Rock, transform chance 60%, Transformed into a snail for 15 seconds.

2.Dispel-  Obliterate all abnormal status effects with a chance rate to surrounding area and all party members. 

(Active buff) Tips: Mu lung dojo is one of the main places you will use this, actually spamming this. 

~Max 10 / 100% Chance to obliterate effects

3.Holy Focus-  Increase your C.H.R (Critical Hit Rate) for holy skills and heal permanently. (Passive)

~Max 20 / CHR +50%, +15% Acc

4.Mystic Door- Create a temporary portal that leads you and all party members to a nearest town. (with some restrictions) [Active] Tips: Use it when someone asks to repot. I know you cannot use it in scarecrows or jesters. 

~Max 10 / Use 1 Magic Rock, Duration 200 sec

5.Holy Symbol [hs]- Use power to give extra exp to all nearby party members. [ 1 of the best skills in maplestory]                    (Active buff) Tips: You will be asked for this ALOT when in a party. With this skill, you can leech off exp!

~Max 20 / 50% exp to all nearby party members, for 120 seconds. [Literally 1.5x Exp when calculated correctly]

6. Shining Ray- Attack using wings up to 5 enemies at once. Deals massive damage to undead and devil monsters. (Active) [spamable]~ Stuns as well.

~Max 30 / 580% Dmge,  80% Stun chance for 5 seconds of stun. 

7. Summon Dragon- Summon a small, blue dragon to attack for you for a temporary time. [Evan Skill Stealer] (Active)

~ Max 20 / Use 1 Summoning Rock, Dragon Dmge:  410% for 180 seconds.

TIp: Raise this when you have leftover sp, and summoning rocks. (They can be found by killing jesters and scarecrows in the chimney.)

8. Teleport Mastery- When activated, you can teleport farther and do a powerful stun up to 6 monsters too.

~Max 10 / Dmge 300% , 6 Monsters hit, stun chance 80% for 4 seconds, teleport range +20. 

Tip: After hitting the selected key for this skill, it will be in play forever till you die. It will go away when the key is pressed again.

9..Elemental Resistance-   Reduce elemental damage done to you. (Passive)

~Max 20 / Elemental Resistance +40%. 

Noob: Wanna learn how to stalk people in MapleStory?

You: FK yea!

Wow you're pretty lame. Ok . Hotkey; Say" find/>name<" Example:  find/ dexlesballer . Type that and it will say the map they are in. If you are not in that cc,  go to it, then click the chatbox and press ^ or down. This will allow you to copy exactly what you just entered, Press enter again and the mapler will be located. Now, stalk that dumbass down! Now, use Butt Rape! Super Effective! NO. wait...
