OVER VIEW:
This will be a walkthrough for Maplestory Thief Edition app. Only available at the app store. Sorry androids, nexon has not created an app for you. The maplestory thief edition (mte) is free for a limited time so download it asap. The game is very fun and is a very simple, and not very well detailed design. Its still a 2-d game but you can only play as a assassin, bandit, or beginner (lame). There are skills, equips, and you are able to save!! (except on jump quests) There are bosses such as the yeti, werewolf, malady, and the last one... balrog.
Getting Started~ The mte is now free so after you download it, start playing. There is usually an ad on the bottom screen saying something about the all new cygnus knight app. I will get that for free once the next edition comes out.
So yea, you dont customize your character. They all look the same. It does have about 70 pieces of various equipment to wear. Things are somewhat expensive later in the game but you will have to train and pick up everything dropped.
Tip! The game auto-picks up for you when you touch an item.
Whats Different:
1. Only play as Bandit (dit) or Assassin (sin). (or beginner ~ ew)
2. 1 player only game
3. Different bosses, exp, and drops
4. No traveling wait
5. Quests, npc's , names.
6. Skills can do different things and different max points.
7. You can now save except with some restrictions. (Save whenever possible especially before and after big things. (bosses, scrolling, etc)
8. Scroll curse ~ If you try to save before you scroll something, all scrolls will fail. (most of the time)
9. Scrolls are all 50% chance of working. They all take 1 slot.
10. No cashshop but you can buy more mesos and exp scrolls for the max 50$!!! (WTF NEXON)
11. The game speed can be altered, Regions are placed in different areas, and some areas are taken out
12. Gaming experience is not nearly as fun as regular maplestory, but lets face it, no internet needed, no noobs or ksers, just you and your ipod/iphone!
13. This is a very good time waster and you will get addicted easily.
14. NO keyboard. The game surface looks like this.
15. I have only mentioned the main things. There are tons more differences to tell.
